Actor Madhavan is feeling goose bumps in his stomach off late. The reason being his anticipated release with Kangana Ranaut, Tanu Weds Manu on February 25. In the film Maddy plays the role of a NRI doctor from London who is in India to marry a homely girl, Tanu [Kangana Ranaut] after his parent’s pressurize him to get married.
Whereas Tanu’s role in the film is complete opposite to Maddy. She is an extrovert who loves to ride bikes, loves to dance and sing, drinks neat shots and add to it she sports a tattoo in the film. Maddy falls for her in the first sight itself.
Maddy’s last outing at the Bollywood box-office was Teen Patti which didn’t lived up to the expectations. The “Rang De Basanti” actor confirms that it his toughest role [as Manu in Tanu Weds Manu] till date. The film, according to the actor has more drama and romance than comedy.
We wonder whether it’s a publicity stunt from the actor after all he played great roles in Tamil Yuva, 3 idiots, Mumbai Meri Jaan etc, but we trust you Maddy as you said it.
